Free Water Testing Available

Know what’s in your water supply. We can carry out a full chemical analysis of your water supply. If you are on a mains supply from the council or a local group scheme the most common issue is chlorine or limescale (hard water). In the case of a well supply we can check the levels of iron, manganese, PH & hardness. All you need to do is take a sample of water from the well or cold tap in the kitchen, if connected, & send it to us for testing. In the case of bacteria issues a test would need to be performed by an accredited laboratory (normal cost €120) to identify the presence of bacteria.

County Council grants for well supplies

Houses over seven years old,not within 5km of mains/group scheme supply can apply for a grant to bring their water up to EU drinking water standards. Grants of up to 75% of the cost are available. Contact us for further information.
